Buying an AI scientific calculator: price, pre-orders and returns

Before buying an AI scientific calculator, check the physical device and its connected service separately. The device price may not include ongoing AI access or a mobile data plan, and a pre-order means waiting for production rather than buying stock ready to ship.

What can you order from GeniCalc?

GC-1 is currently on a free waitlist. Pre-orders reopen 15 November 2026, with estimated dispatch January 2027. Joining the waitlist does not create an order, reserve a device or take payment. When ordering reopens, the device price is €189 in the EU or £165 in the UK, including VAT.

A tested production sample exists, but development and conformity assessment are still in progress. The current pictures are design visualisations. No unit will be dispatched before its required conformity documentation is complete.

What will AI access cost?

AI Plus is an optional paid service. The current promotional eligibility, prices, renewal and cancellation terms are set out below. The refund policy explains the separate withdrawal right for the paid digital service.

You also provide a compatible nano SIM and mobile data plan. The cheapest advertised data plan is not necessarily compatible with the device or available where you live. Check the final tested network guide and coverage before choosing one.

Check dispatch and delivery as separate dates

January 2027 is a dispatch estimate, not a promised arrival date. Production waiting time comes before courier transit. EU and UK fulfilment is planned from France; final warehouse, carrier and returns details are being prepared before pre-orders reopen. Initial planned destinations are all EU countries, including Germany, plus the UK. Required national product registrations must be completed before sales begin in each destination. Other destinations are not yet open for orders.

When pre-orders reopen, payment is taken in full at ordering. You may cancel for a full refund before dispatch. If the estimate changes, we will email an update. Read the shipping policy and terms before paying.

Returns and faults

Consumer purchases have a 14-day withdrawal period starting when the device is received. A change-of-mind return normally means paying the direct return postage; a faulty or incorrect device is handled at our expense under applicable consumer rights. The legal guarantee is at least two years in the EU, with national law controlling the remedies and any longer rights. A subscription cancellation is separate from returning a device.

A checklist for any seller

• Find the legal company name, address and working support contact.
• Check real device images, specifications and demonstrations.
• Confirm the model, connection requirements and functions available offline.
• Read every AI charge and whether a paid plan renews.
• Check age eligibility, photo retention and deletion controls.
• Read the dispatch estimate, return window, postage costs and fault procedure.

Use a device suited to your study needs. An AI calculator is not automatically approved for an exam and cannot guarantee accurate answers or improved grades.

Pre-order promotion and standard pricing

The pre-order device price is €189 in the EU or £165 in the UK for orders placed from 15 November through 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, the device price is €239 or £209. VAT is included. Delivery is free throughout the EU, including Germany, and across the UK. UK prices also include import VAT and customs charges; no additional customs payment is due from the customer.
